Hi Andy,

As always, your podcasts are informative and interesting. Before this show was over, I was signing up for APG’s Active Shooter Response class! Looking forward to continuing my training.

Thanks for taking the time to inform us on current CC topics and introducing us to your guests.

When is Wisconsin going to reciprecate Florida concealed weapons permits?

Andy August 26, 2012 at 8:15 am

Great Question Larry. The answer isn’t black and white. A state looks to see if the potential state’s requirements meet or exceed their own minimum requirements. The process can take a while, but since Wisconsin’s law has been in affect, we’ve been approved on several new states and we’ve approved several new states. Bottom line is that it is state government and nothing is fast – just a lot of red tape. You could consider just getting another state’s license like FL or UT and it would likely cover all the states you want right away. Carry on! ~ Andy
