Welcome to Concealed Wisconsin!
A podcast about Guns, Wisconsin, and YOU!
A podcast is a lot like a radio program. It is a way to get information, entertainment, and breaking news out to you the listeners, but we deliver the content when you want it, so you can listen to it when you’d like to, not when we happen to be ‘on-the-air’.
On July 8, 2011, Wisconsin witnessed a historic day, when Governor Scott Walker signed the Wisconsin Personal Protection Act (Concealed Carry Law) in Wausau, WI. On November 1, 2011, Wisconsin became the 49th State to recognize private citizens’ right to carry a concealed weapon for self defense.
Although this law isn’t perfect, it is one of the better laws in the country (according to many) in regards to concealed carry laws and we look forward to finally be able to exercise our rights in Wisconsin. Currently, Illinois is the only hold out state still infringing on its citizens rights and we’re hoping that we’ll be able to change that soon too.
On the Concealed Wisconsin Podcast, we’re going to be discussing many aspects guns, carrying guns, and the new Concealed Carry law, but we are not lawyers, judges, or government officials (thank goodness) and nothing we discuss should be construed as legal advice, counsel, or training ~ we do urge you to read the law for your self and make sure you know it and understand it before strapping on a firearm.
Thanks for all your support! I look forward to connecting with you soon!
